Raw materials supply chain – is a process or the beginning of the activities in obtaining, processing, and
delivering the basic resources needed for manufacturing and production.
Ripe supply chain – when it come the word “ripe” it refers to reaching a point of optimal maturity and
readiness for efficient and effective operations. This type of the processes that production is reaching a
maximum or well-developed.
Internal supply chain – it refers to the network of process within a single organization that are involve in
producing, distributing, and delivering goods and services to different department or location within the
same organization.
Extended supply chain – it a broader network of interconnected to the suppliers, manufacturers,
distributors, retailers etc. that collaborate to the products or services from their initial creation to the
final consumer.
Self-monitored supply chain – this a system which is by monitoring and tracking mechanism that allow
them gather the data about their own operations and performances. This data can include about
inventory levels, production rates, transportation and more.
Outsources supply chain – it’s the system where the company delegates certain aspect of its supply
chain management, such as manufacturing, distributors, or external third party providers.
