Special Instructions
1. It’s compulsory to take NODOSIS (Sodium Bicarbonate) dosage as prescribed by doctor.
2.BEFORE STARTING SAI SANJIVANI’S TREATMENT do get your fresh KFT
(Kidney Function Test), Serum Bicarbonate Test, Urine Routine/Microscopy Test
& Thyroid Profile Test.
3. Always get your reports done from the same lab. Don’t change the lab.
4. Monitor BP & Blood Sugar levels on daily basis.
5. Blood Pressure (BP)
I. (Normal BP) 120/80 mmhg (for healthy person)
II. (For CKD Patients) - The diastolic pressure (lower limit) should not exceed more than
80 mmhg. AS soon as it reaches 90 mmhg, immediate damge starts to the kidney,
so, the primary concern is to maintain the Blood Pressure at 70-80 mmhg
(diastolic/lower limit) through medication, diet & lifestyle.
Systolic pressure may vary according to the age.
6. Blood Sugar Levels
(For Diabetic CKD Patients)
I. (Normal Sugar Levels) FBS-70-110mg/dl,PP-<140mg/dl
II. (For CKD Diabetic Patients) FBS-Below 110mg/dl, RBS-<200mg/dl
If RBS reaches 200mg/dl or exceeds above this, immediate damage starts to the kidney.
So the primary concern is to maintain the Blood Sugar levels through medication, diet
& lifestyle.
You should continue taking your BP & Blood Sugar medication along with our treatment
provided, there should be a minimum gap of an hour between both the medications.

7. (Fluid Intake)
- Make sure your fluid intake is appropriate & optimum as per your body requirement.
Your body should not go into dehydration because over hydration & dehydration both
can lead to deterioration of kidney health.
(Intake for CKD Patients)
* Swelling Present - Limit your fluid intake which covers milk, water, veg curry within 800ml - 1L
* Swelling Absent - Take fluid/water as per your thirst ( But take small serving approx.
50-100ml at a time throughout day.)
8. Use only purified water or boiled water for drinking & cooking purposes. Water should be at
room temprature.
9. Leaching process (soaking raw vegetables in water for atleast 2hrs before cooking & then used
for cooking) should only be used for preparing high potassium vegetalbles. Do not follow leaching
process for low potassium vegetables preparation because leaching process drains off all other
minerals along with potassium & it may lead to weakness in patients.
