ABSTRACT
The study Divorce in contemporary Muslims society and its impact on Muslims
children in Jere Local Government Area of Borno State. Questionnaire was utilized
as instrument for the study.A total of one hundred were filled and returned.Data
collectedwere analyzed by the use of figures, tables and percentages. The study
revealed that divorce is very rampant in Muslim society and its seriously has
negative impact on Muslim children thereby caused a lot of problem to the Muslim
world.following recommendation are hereby offered, for solution on the Study.The
preachers should preach and call the attention of Muslim Umma towards the
negative impact of divorce, Educating people on the consequences of divorce on the
children lead to their poor upbringing, and affect their psychological development
in which they become intellectually retarded.Islamic scholars need to be preaching
on the negative impact on divorce on Muslim children and its consequences in the
society and the hereafter. Islamic organization, traditional rulers and other
influential people can be sponsored for this purpose. The result of the analysis is
also summarized and conclusionand recommendation are depicted in the last
chapter.
