I would reconcile the emerging needs of human beings regarding their health and the need to
protect the growth of biodiversity as a student is by compromising on both ends. I believe we
can get resources as long as we would not go too far and of course replace it. So for example if
we are cutting trees, let’s make sure to plant seeds right after because if these resources will be
gone, we are the ones that will suffer from it. In line with this, let’s not take too much advantage
of our biodiversity because we need them more than they need us. Scientifically, the whole
universe existed way before we came on earth and thus, if they were able to exist all those
years, I believe they would still thrive even if we didn’t exist. Well actually, now that we are here,
I think we’re doing it more harm than good. That’s why we should make efforts even if it’s just
small. What I would do to promote safe keeping of our biodiversity is by promoting sustainability.
Examples of these are implementing stricter laws with regards to our waste management so that
the “trashes” that can be saved can still be reused, reduced, and recycled. With this, we can
reduce waste sent to the landfill that causes pollution. Also, by conserving the natural resources
and habitats that we have, we can make sure that the next generation will still have a liveable
earth. Not only that, but these habitats help us with our health by providing oxygen, balance,
and peace of mind. Moreover, I would like to promote the use of public transportation to reduce
smoke pollution and minimize traffic that takes up too much of our time. However, we can only
establish this if public transportation has a good system so I hope that the authorities will take
this matter more seriously for the betterment of the environment and the people. In conclusion,
If we take care of our environment better, I believe good things such as good health of the
people will be the consequence of it and our environment will be toxic free
