The primary constraints are scope, time, and budget. The secondary challenge is to optimize the allocation of necessary inputs and apply them to meet pre-defined objectives. The objective of project management is to deliver a complete project which complies with the client's objectives. In many cases, the objective of project management is also to shape the client's objectives. A project is a temporary and unique endeavor designed to produce a product, service, or result with a defined beginning and end to meet unique goals and objectives, typically to bring about beneficial change or added value. In practice, the management of such distinct project approaches requires the development of distinct technical skills and management strategies. 5 Dimensions of project management Action Plans Communicating Plans Goal Setting Conflict Resolution Identify Expectations Identify Resources Planning Organizing Coordinating Cooperation Project Management Promoting/ Politics Decision making Organizational Structure Leading People Building Motivating Standards Setting Controlling Stimulating Interest Group/ Team Building Providing Feedback Communications Monitoring Performance Evaluation Reward & Discipline 6 3 08.11.2022 Each step has specific tools Influencing techniques Convice with your personality Challenge definition template Change-Management Pyramid principle Define the challenge Convince stakeholders Story lining 7 Synthesize results to 6 solutions Slide design 1 5 Logic tree / Driver tree 3 Conduct analyses Agile project / SCRUM Sit-Com-Sol Structure the challenge 2 7 steps for client projects Prioritize hypotheses 4 Hypothesis tree Plan analyses Interviewing technique Eisenhower Pareto Stakeholer analysis Analysis plan The basis: Manage dynamics in project team Evolution of a project team 7 Each step has specific tools Influencing techniques Convice with your personality Challenge definition template Change-Management Pyramid principle Define the challenge Convince stakeholders Story lining 7 Synthesize results to 6 solutions Slide design 1 5 Agile project / SCRUM Conduct analyses Sit-Com-Sol Structure the challenge 2 7 steps for client projects Logic tree / Driver tree 3 4 Prioritize hypotheses Hypothesis tree Plan analyses Interviewing technique Eisenhower Pareto Stakeholer analysis Analysis plan The basis: Manage dynamics in project team Evolution of a project team 8 4 08.11.2022 High performance teams 9 Building a high performance team Nobody is perfect, but a team can be! 10 5 08.11.2022 Team performance curve Euphoria High-performance team Average team Team performance Time Project definition Crash "Valley of tears" Forming Storming Norming Performing Source: B.
