Pre-lesson: Pupils review the places, activities and
adjectives from previous lessons.
Lesson delivery:
1. Explain that there’ll be 4 conversations about different
activities.
2. Pupils refer to textbook page 77. Pupils listen to audio
track 23 and say out the answer based on the audio
and picture.
3. Track is replayed while pupils check their answers.
4. A listening task sheet is given to everyone.
5. Pupils listen to the audio and fill in the task sheet.
Post-lesson: Pupils then discuss in pairs in order to check
answers.

Pre-lesson: A bubble map is drawn on the board with
the word ‘movies’ written in the middle circle. Pupils
brainstorm adjectives to describe the word.
Lesson delivery:
1. Refer to textbook page 77. Pupils practise the
exchange of questioning and answering.
2. In pairs, pupils refer to Activity 3 in textbook and ask
questions. Pupil A asks 2 questions while Pupil B asks
another 2.
3. Each pupil is given a stimulus card with a picture of
place and adjective.
4. In their groups, pupils take turns to ask the question
practised earlier and reply.
Post-lesson: Randomly choose a few pupils to share
their weekend whereabouts.

discussed answer and how to fill in.
5. Pupils complete the text (M). Pupils are guided to
complete the text (L). Pupils also find a solution to their
problem.
6. Pupils exchange books with their partners and try to
solve.
