Introduction: I had the privilege of interning at IZ Pâtisserie and Café, a delightful establishment nestled in the heart of Mirpur, Dhaka. Under the ownership of Israt Zisan, a passionate continental chef with an eye for aesthetics, this café offers a unique blend of Victorian charm and Bangladeshi hospitality. During my internship, I had the opportunity to explore the various facets of the café, which encompasses its ambiance, culinary offerings, and the challenges it overcame to become a beloved destination in an area not traditionally associated with coffee culture. Ambiance: IZ Pâtisserie and Café is a visual treat. Every aspect of its decor, from the velvety feather white sofas to the ornate chandeliers, transports visitors to another time and place, reflecting Israt Zisan's inspiration drawn from her travels across Europe. The café's interior is a reflection of her love for the ornate architecture, intricate details, and timeless elegance of the Victorian era. Vibrant paintings on the walls add a splash of color, and the vintage-inspired furniture and accessories create a unique and unforgettable experience for guests. This carefully curated ambiance plays a significant role in setting the café apart. Culinary Delights: Beyond aesthetics, IZ Pâtisserie and Café is a haven for food enthusiasts. Israt Zisan's mastery extends to crafting delectable treats that are as beautiful as they are delicious.
