The National Education Policy 2020 of India outlines the importance of holistic development of students. It showcases that for overall development of students, scholastic, co-scholastic, life skills and individual talents have to be given equal attention . NEP 2020 emphasizes the need for creating All Rounders who have the ability to handle all challenges and adapt to any situation. Gratification CLASSMATE ALLROUNDER is a unique event designed for school students to give them an opportunity to showcase their skills, explore their potential and reward their prowess. The event is open to all students from classes 5 to 10 of registered schools. Students will be judged on multiple parameters like Academics, Co-Curricular, Fitness, Talent, Emotional Quotient (EQ), Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Digital Quotient (DQ), Community Focus and Life Skills. The winners will be declared CLASSMATE ALL-ROUNDERS 2022. Categories The Process Junior CLASS 5 - 7 School Level City Level National Finals Senior CLASS 8 - 10 ENJOY LEARNING School Level Students from registered schools will fill an Entry Form to be eligible for the activity. Through their entry form the students will highlight their past records in multiple fields and their success at different levels. The students will then go through an IQ test based on which Top 4 students (2 Junior & 2 Senior) will get to represent their school at the City Level. School Championship ‘The more the merrier’. The most enthusiastic and participative school will be awarded the overall trophy. This will be determined based on the following point system. There will be an Overall winner in both Categories. Round 1 Participant Registration Form: Competition Level Points Awarded School Level 5 point per student entry City Level – Phase 2 10 points per qualified student City Level – Phase 3 15 points per qualified student National Level 20 points per qualified student Round 2 IQ Test Judgement Criteria: Academic Prowess, ExtraCurricular Achievements, Co- Curricular Participation Judgement Criteria: Intelligence Quotient (IQ) & General Knowledge (GK) Description: Students registering for the competition have to fill a resume-based form with their basic details, educational, sports and extra-curricular achievements. Description: A written Test will be conducted at the school. This round will test the IQ, GK, logical reasoning, mathematical skills and linguistic abilities of the student. Follow us on @classmatebyitc ENJOY LEARNING City Level The top 4 students(2 Juniors + 2 Seniors) from every school in the host city will participate in the city-level round. This round will be held at a prominent venue and will comprise of the following rounds. Phase 1 The first phase will consist of 2 rounds and all students who have qualified for the city-level round will take part in this phase. Written Test Judgement Criteria: General Knowledge, Digital Quotient, Social Awareness, Logic, and Reasoning Description: The Written Test round will test students on their awareness and knowledge on various topics. It will also evaluate a student’s logic and reasoning abilities through a variety of analytical questions & exercises. Physical Fitness Test Judgement Criteria: Strength, Flexibility/ Mobility, Agility, Endurance & Stamina Description: The physical fitness round will involve students participating in fun filled exciting challenges that will test their endurance and speed, & challenge them to prove themselves in varied physical scenarios. The students’ fundamental motor skills as well as levels of muscle strength, flexibility and overall fitness levels will be assessed. Participants can wear their school sports uniforms or any sports attire and shoes for this round. Phase 2 The top 60 (30 Juniors + 30 Seniors )students shortlisted based on their score in phase 1 will move to Phase 2 comprising of two rounds. Group Discussion Judgement Criteria: Confidence, Leadership and Communication Description: The student will have a group discussion with peers and express their views on a given topic. They will discuss and debate their point of view and come to a conclusion as a group for their topic as part of this activity. Creative Arts Judgement Criteria: Creativity & Innovation Description: The participants will be given an identical kit with multiple items. They will need to find a way to integrate the resources provided to them to create something out of it. They will only be able to use the resources given to bring their creation to life. ENJOY LEARNING Phase 3 Versatility Round The top 20 (10 Juniors + 10 Seniors )students shortlisted based on their score in phase 2 will move to Phase 3 comprising of Four rounds. The City Finals Phase will have 4 Rounds Judgement Criteria: Decission Making and Problem Solving Participants will be given tasks on stage by the host to be accomplished in 2 minutes. Extempore Round Judgement Criteria: Quick ability and Self-awareness Judges Q/A Round thinking Participants will be judged on their oratory abilities by speaking on a topic on the spot. Talent Round Judgement Criteria: Stage presence and Confidence Judgement Criteria: Stress Management & interpersonal Skills Participants will have to answer one or two questions asked by the judges panel. Top 4 students (2 Juniors & 2 Seniors) will be crowned as Classmate Allrounder at the city level. They get to represent their city in the National Finals. Participants will be given 2 minutes to showcase any one talent of their choice. Participants can wear costumes in this round. National Finals The 52 winners(26 Juniors & 26 Seniors) from 13 cities will come together for 3 days of fun filled learning activities and action packed adventures in Bangalore to vie for the Classmate All Rounder title. In the first 2 days, the finalists will be tested on various parameters including Physical Assessment, Outbound Learning and Challenges and much more. The final day would be dedicated to the Grand Finale. The Grand Finale will be a culmination of the program and renowned personalities & celebrities will personally evaluate the students and declare the winners. The evaluation will be based on the following rounds: Introduction Round, on-stage quiz, Talent Round and Q&A Round. Top 4(2 Juniors + 2 Seniors)students will be awarded the title of the Classmate All Rounders 2022 ENJOY LEARNING Classmate All Rounder Guidelines Please read all the guidelines provided below to ensure that the event is conducted in a smooth and orderly manner. Failure to comply with the rules and guidelines provided can lead to negative marking or disqualification. Registration Guidelines • Classmate All Rounder is open only to students from schools that have registered to be part of the competition. • To register for the competition, schools have to fill the Classmate All Rounder - Event Registration Form with all required details and the principal’s seal & signature. • All registered schools must nominate an official representative as School Coordinator who will be responsible for all communication between the school and the organizers • The event is open only to students of registered schools studying between Class 5 to Class 10 • All registered students must have filled the participant registration forms. Participation Guidelines • Students must wear their school uniforms along with a valid ID card at all times during the competition. • Participants must report at the venue 15 minutes prior to the start of the competition. If any student arrives after the event has started, they will not be allowed to participate. • Students with any medical complications or ailments are requested to get in touch with us before registering. • In case a participant is required to change into a costume for a particular round, he/she shall change before the round and change back into the uniform. • Participants are requested to carry their own food & refreshments and all other dietary requirements to meet their needs. • Participants are requested to refrain from eating inside the auditoriums or event venues • Any profanity, vulgar behavior, indiscipline or malpractice of any nature will lead to disqualification. Teacher/Student Coordinator Guidelines • Your support & cooperation can make the difference between chaos and efficiency with respect to the event • You are requested to read and understand the entire booklet to provide assistance to all the participants. • You must ensure that all participants have filled the participant registration form accurately and submit them to the Krayon representative. • You will be responsible to ensure that the students are aware of the event details and structure. Judgement Guidelines • Decisions made by the judges and organizers will be final and binding. • Results of the competition cannot be changed under any circumstances. • All decisions will be impartial and fair, they will be carried out on the basis of scorecards. • Winners be selected on the basis of scores and merit only. Prize & Award Rules • The All Rounder will be awarded the title of Classmate All-Rounders 2022, a certificate of achievement and prize money of Rs. 1,00,000/-. • All prizes and certificates are to be collected at the event venue after the completion of the event. • Organizers are not responsible to dispatch prizes or certificates to schools. • All participants will receive a participation certificate. • Winners of each level will receive a certificate of achievement. • Prize money & certificates are non-transferable and non-upgradable. Terms & Conditions The event is conducted by ITC Ltd and executed by Krayon, the events division of LXL Ideas Pvt Ltd, on behalf of ITC • Organizers reserve the right to cancel or change the event proceedings without prior notice, due to time constraints, natural calamities or any untoward incidents (if any). • The participating schools & students will be responsible to take care of their personal health and wellbeing. Medical kits & ambulances will be available at the city level & National level venue • The competition is valid for Indian School students of Classes 5 to 10. This does not include family members of the employees, organizers, its associate companies, its advertising and contestable agencies and its auditors. • Participants indulging in unfair means and foul play shall be disqualified. • Organizers reserve the right to cancel, modify, extend or withdraw the contest prematurely at their sole and absolute discretion. • Certificates are neither transferable nor upgradable. • Organizers shall be at liberty to use the photographs, voice motion pictures of the winner for media coverage, advertisement or publicity in any form which is existing today or will be known any time in the future without obtaining consent from the winner. • Winners will have to bear incidental costs, is any, that may arise for redemption of the prize. • Organizers will not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of the competition including during the conduct of the event. • Organizers shall not be liable for any loss, delay or damage due to Act of God, Government Guidelines or other force majeure circumstances. They shall not be liable to pay any amount as compensation, or otherwise for any loss, delay or damage. • Organizers will not be responsible for any loss of prize due to incorrect information provided by the winners. • Incomplete entries (name/ address/telephone/absence of school principal’s signature) will not be considered for the prize. • Taxes as applicable will be deducted at the source for all prizes. • The contest shall be adjudged by the Organizers and their decision will be final and binding, with regard to any dispute arising from the competition and is non-contestable. • Responsibility for arranging necessary travel documents (any identity or address proof) shall be of the participant and not of the Organizers. • The winner will be contacted using the details submitted by them through the participant registration form. • All disputes and matters relating to this event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka only. • Organizers reserve the right to change or modify the promised prizes at any point without any prior notice. • Organizers are not responsible for any untoward incident which causes any harm to participants, teachers and guests or their belongings.
