Computers: do they help you to study or stop your studying?
Nowadays almost every child uses computers. Although this device can make it harder for
students to focus on their studies, it has a lot of advantages, too.
In my opinion, if parents show their children how to work with the computer correctly, it can
help them improve their knowledge in so many ways. First of all, the computer is the best
device for using the internet, where they can find new information, do research, watch
educational videos or study online during a pandemic. Furthermore, the computer is the
perfect tool for writing texts or presentations with the help of Microsoft Office.
Unfortunately, not all parents check how their children use the computer. Some kids spend
too much time chatting with friends or playing video games. For this reason, they can
become addicted to computers, and care less about school work.
To sum up, computers have a good effect on students if they use it well. However, their
parents need to teach them how to use it correctly.
