1. Action algorithm before submitting an application to the European Court of Human Rights:
• a concise statement of the statement, definition of the right or rights (guaranteed by the Convention)
that, in my opinion, have been damaged;
• information about the means of legal protection that you used;
• a list of official decisions in the case indicating the date of each document and the authority that
issued it (court or other body), and also contains information about the content of each document.
2. Conditions and deadlines for submitting an application:
Terms of submission:
You can send a statement to the European Court if you believe that you personally and because of this
have become victims of a violation of the rights and freedoms specified in the Convention or in the
Protocols to it.
The application must relate only to the damage admitted by the State, which is covered by the
Convention.
Submission deadlines:
An application to the Court may be submitted within six months after the final decision has been made
by the court or the authority competent to determine the issue that is the subject of the appeal to the
Court.
The six-month period is counted from the moment of familiarization with the final court decision.
3. Stages of consideration of the case
1. Resolution of the admissibility issue;
2. Consideration on the merits (ie, after the complaint).
