I learned in our group activities on the topics of social media netiquette, virtual meeting netiquette, table manners, hygiene and more, you can cover a range of important skills and behaviors for effective and respectful communication in various contexts. I learned about the importance of the things we must do and the things we shouldn’t do, such as being respectful, treating others people as you would by your elders.Think before any irrational posting or decisions. one should also avoid posting inflammatory or offensive comments.Don't share too much personal information. And so much more, I also learned these from my group mates pictures. It was fun to finally get a glimpse of my classmates' faces and what insights they have imparted to the group. 2. How did you feel working with your group mates? Have you made friends with any of your group mates? Not really, since we usually do things online, it is difficult to form that bond of friendship, however I could say we have become acquaintances with one another. There are people in the group who I am already close to, so opening up to ideas was a breeze. 3. List down the group activities assigned to you in this class. Would you have preferred the group activities as individual activities? Why or why not? I was assigned to take the initiative in delegating the task as well as be an etiquette scenario portrayer in terms of virtual meetings. I also helped out with questions from my members and input the quotes in the powerpoint presentation. If I were to choose whether I’d prefer to do this task as a group of an individual, my answer would be unsure. I’m fine with both. There are pros and cons of each but as time passes, I’d say I’m Okay completing this taks as a group since its more fun and fast. and Taking pictures by different faces makes the output more captivating and attractive. 4. Why do you think it is important to become a team player? What does it have to do in the world of work? In the workplace, being a team player is a critical quality that favorably affects both individual and organizational achievement. Enhancing job quality not only leads to a more engaging and gratifying work experience for those concerned, but it also fosters a healthy workplace culture. It also can be adept in navigating and resolving conflicts constructively. They focus on finding solutions rather than assigning blame, contributing to a healthier and more functional work environment 5. Why being a good team player is important for career success? Being an important team member might lead to new employment chances since leaders will see how well you're doing your work. You could even be requested to apply your skills in more high-profile, mission-critical projects and in another team environment. For this reason, developing effective teamwork skills is crucial.In conclusion, being a good team player has many benefits that you may reap in your professional life.
