Reflection 3
This SBA topic has changed my perspective on gender inequality in the workplace
by exposing me to the actual issues that men and women face. It was very
interesting to learn that an aspect about Human Resources was to oversee that
women get paid less than men and that there are actual structures in the public and
private sector that enforces gender biasness. While researching my topic I came
across new words and vocabulary with I did not know and looked it up on goggle,
those words which were vital to understanding my topic. Also, when reading the
articles and new reports I learnt about different ways people express themselves
and how each way has its own benefits. Working in this group gave me a change to
build my communication skills and making connections with group members,
keeping the content which, we talk about in a professional manner. This also made
me realize that working in groups are helps with developing my leadership skills
and my ability to receive constructive criticism. In addition to that this project have
helped me reestablish my work habits to becoming more focus and having a
positive mindset when doing work.
