My dear Alex
I know I probably won't see you for a while but now that you are going away from home I
feel I have to write you a letter. I hope this will help you get started in the beginning it won't
be easy for you. Try and get to know some people and remember this is a fresh start there
won't be anyone you know so be yourself in the beginning and you will make friends in mere
moments. do you remember me telling you about Jonah and the others? They are the
people I met and are the ones I will cherish for the rest of my life.
there will be ups and downs at those moments be with your friends they will support you the
best they can. Remember the best things are the friends you will meet and the time you
spend with them
My first months were hard but really fun we tried a bunch of different stuff like windsurfing
and sailing. the first couple of months will be the hardest but they are the building blocks for
the rest of your year and if it gets hard just call me.
this is your year make it your best, have fun go to parties, get boyfriend/girlfriend do dumb
stuff be a bit reckless, go for a walk or a run, use your freedom now is the best moment to do
so.
