The said activity formalizes our partnership with the province of Southern Leyte as well as documents our efforts towards contributing to the achievement of Health and Wellness indicators under Sustainable Development Goal Number 3. With this, we would like to thank you for your commitment in accelerating the reduction of adolescent pregnancy in Southern Leyte! Your commitment inspires us to work with the Provincial Governments of Samar and Southern Leyte under your leadership to provide a better future for our young people. Through the EYLGP, we scale up the model developed and implemented in Mindanao to show that trained youth leaders could help improve local health and non-health systems towards adolescent pregnancy prevention. For your region, EYLGP is a capability development program composed of two training modules and practicum phases after each module that will help trained local leaders address the issue of adolescent pregnancy faster through multi-level and multi-stakeholder interventions in improving their Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) Systems under the context of UHC.
