ACKNOWLEDGMENT
“Nothing is impossible as long as we work together”. A person’s success can never
be achieved singlehandedly, for it is a result of collaborative efforts and contributions from
different people – whether positive or negative. As the saying goes, “No man is an island”.
I believe that the most successful person in the world is someone who feels contented in
life despite having nothing than those who have everything but greed consumes them from
within. And with this mindset, regardless of the things that I don’t have, I feel successful
nevertheless, for I am abundantly blessed with great people around me who are endlessly
and wholeheartedly guiding me, protecting me, and supporting me throughout the journey
of my life.
With this, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the following persons for
their valuable contributions and support for the completion and improvement of this study,
to wit:
To Dr. Artemio A. Martin, Jr., Ph. D., for the unwavering patience and
guidance in the statistical analysis and interpretation of data of this study;
To Dr. Ma. Rita A. Reario, DPA., for the eye-opening lessons and guidance for
the improvement of this study;
To Dr. Nicanor D. Baquiran, Ph.D., for the unending support and guidance for
the improvement and completion of this study;
To Dr. Rolly L. San Jose, DBA., for the unending support and guidance for the
improvement and completion of this study;
III
To all the Barangay Officials in the Poblacion Region of Cauayan City, Isabela,
for their immeasurable guidance and support in providing data to make this study
productive and successfully fruitful; and
To Mrs. Marites T. Fariñas, for the never-ending support especially in financial
aspect.
Above all, the Almighty God, the creator of heaven and earth, who serve as my
ultimate source of strength and inspiration.
