Greetings All, As you know I am the project manager leading the Plants Pals service launch and I would like to thank you for your continued support throughout this effort. It is because of this support that we have been able to install the software to manage incoming orders which ultimately allowed us to initiate a test run of sending shipments out to customers. I am reaching out to escalate a delivery issue that has been discovered during the initial run of sending test shipments. Essentially, we do not have enough drivers to deliver all orders in a timely fashion. We are currently tracking that only 80% of the orders have been successfully delivered. Customer satisfaction has plummeted and we are starting to see customer churn as a direct result of the poor delivery rate. We have to reach an on-time delivery rate of 90% to avoid the next batch being negatively impacted as well. Continued delays on the logistics front will put a risk on product quality, impact the project timeline, and ultimately hurt the projected revenue. I do have a proposed solution to address this known issue. I believe it is justified to grant overtime to the current drivers that we have and are willing to take advantage of these opportunities. Even go a step further and add bonus pay for drivers that complete a threshold number of hours per pay period. I would also suggest to the HR team that we incorporate a signing bonus during the hiring process in an effort to acquire the attention of much-needed additional drivers. Thank you once again for your time and consideration in advance of these proposed solutions for current and future drivers.
