Licenses
The licenses are User Activated. This chapter briefly describes the license handling.
3.1
User-Activated Licenses
User-activated licenses mean that the licenses are not pre-activated, and features
are locked at delivery. Activation of the licenses must be done in ELIS and the LKF
(License Key File) has to be installed in the node before the features can be used.
When ordering single items (SM ordering) and SW expansion in PP, the licenses will
be handled as User-Activated.

INF 901 7870
Comment
One price object will be included for each
Base Package in ECP/Premium Proposal
The end date of SW Subscription is handled through the sending of a specific SW
Subscription license with an attached date. The date is handled by one license per
customer NW and product (i.e., MINI-LINK CN 510 R2), it is not required to send in
one per node.
For handling these dates there is a separate Product Package, FAP 130 4009,
where it is possible to handle these dates for several BNEW products at once
(assuming SW Subscription dates are probably set the same for several products
towards the same customer).
This joint Product Package for SW Subscription and Term Based Licensing end date
handling is found in the ECP Product Package folders of the normal BNEW Ericsson
SW Model Product Packages (or directly in SAP/ONE).
Renewal of SW Subscription Price Object is possible to order using MINI-LINK SW
