Project Background Qualifications and Requirements The 3-year ‘Enhancing livelihoods and providing food security in conflict effected areas’ Project partners with communities to improve their wellbeing and resilience of conflict affected and displaced communities through vocational skills building, new livelihood opportunities and improved agricultural market access. - Objective 1: Target beneficiaries have improved their livelihoods. Objective 2: Conflict-affected communities use improved market access. - A relevant university degree (Bachelor) in social science, business, agriculture or management. A minimum of three years’ experience as project assistant or equivalent position. Strong understanding on how to improve the livelihoods of farmers in upland areas of southeast Myanmar. Excellent communications and inter-personal skills. Self-motivated, flexible, active team player, ability to work in the field. Excellent language skills both in Burmese and English, with Karen language competency being an advantage. Major duties and Responsibilities - Work directly with project manager/program manager to help implement project goals Assign duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed. Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution Overview project goals and ensure project goals are achievable.
