PURPOSE
The purpose of this document is to provide supplemental construction guidelines for Nokia AEHC installation
in the T-Mobile network. The AEHC has been identified as a critical component in T-Mobile’s 2.5 deployment
strategy. This fact, coupled with Nokia’s decision to stop production of the AAHF, stresses the importance of
correct installation and integration of this device into our network.

INSTALL PROCESS
The existing Nokia Installation and Commissioning MOP needs to be reviewed and understand by the GC in its entirety.
Basically, from a Hardware construction point of view, below are the three (3) high level steps:
1. Install AMIA with ASIB/ASIK and ABIL/ABIC
2. Install AEHC radio with AMPF brackets
3. Install Top and Bottom fiber jumpers

2. Adding more emphasis and attention on installing the OCTIS SFP adaptor as it has been a major top fiber jumper failures in our FOA installs. Diagram below
illustrates the proper and correct way in installing the OCTIS adaptor so as not to damage the fibers. A link is also provided below for a video presentation.
