How to Convert 15 mmol/L to mg/dL?
To convert 15 mmol/L (millimoles per liter) of glucose to mg/dL (milligrams per
deciliter), multiply by a conversion factor of glucose. You get values in mg/dL.
Example – A glucose concentration of 15 mmol/L. then convert into mg/dl
Step 1: Molecular Weight (glucose) = 180g/mol
Step 2: Conversion factor = MW/10 = 180 g/mol / 10 = 18
Step 3: glucose concentration (mmol/L) = 15 mmol/L
Step 4: Concentration in mg/dL = 15 mmol/L × 18 = 270 mg/dL
So, a glucose concentration of 15 mmol/L equals 270 mg/dL.
Formula of 15 mmol/L to mg/dL
● mg/dL = 15 mmol/L * 18
● mg/dL = milligrams per deciliter
● mmol/L = millimoles per liter
