Present Continuous
The present continuous verb tense, sometimes called the present
progressive, is the present participle form of a verb used with the
present tense form of to be.
Present tense: I dance.
Present continuous tense: I am dancing.
The present continuous tense is used for showing an action that is
happening at the moment or in the present. It sometimes shows action
happening in the near future.
Example 1: He is watching the
game with his friends.
Example 2: She is taking the
test on Tuesday.
Part I: Circle the present continuous verb tense in each of the following sentences.

2. The city council is holding a meeting to discuss stoplights.
