Software Engineer New-Grad Screening Test
1. Before the test:
You can familiarize the platform by doing a practice test at
https://app.codesignal.com/demo-test; you will have to create an account to do the
practice test; please use the name/email that is in the records of IIIT-H placement
cell during the sign-up process. In case you created an account during internship
hiring, you can use the same account.
2. On the day of the test
a. The link to the actual test will be sent 15 min prior to the test date/time. The
link will be emailed by the placement cell to all the students who have registered
for Databricks
b. Setup
i.
You can start with the sign-in process as soon as you get the email (you
will have to sign-up in case you didn’t do the practice test or didn’t take
the screening test for internship). Please make sure you are signing in
using the email address where you receive test instructions
ii.
Please make sure you have a legible soft copy of your Aadhar
(preferable) or Passport or Institute ID (for Identification purpose) on your
computer. You will have to upload an ID
iii.
Please make sure the computer camera is working and the wifi/internet
connection is strong
c. Actual test
i.
After you finish the setup, you can proceed to take the online test which
will involve 4 questions to be solved in 70 min. Note that the test
cannot be paused midway
ii.
We expect everyone to finish the test within ~1hr 45 min from the time
they receive the link to the test
