Preparation
a. Ensure the program SAP NetWeaver Business Explorer Query Designer (BEx Query
Designer) is installed.
i. If the BEx Query Designer isn’t installed you can download and access it at the SAP
Service Marketplace as a part of the SAP GUI
b. Ensure you got the required authorization to create BW queries
Start BEx Query Designer and login to your BI Content Development System
Select “[Key] Text” for the option “Technical Names”:

Open the query 0SM_UPL_USED_OBJS_ON_DATE
a. Select “Open Query…” in the toolbar
b. Select the option “Find” on the left side of the “Open Query” Dialog
c. Ensure, the option “Search in Technical Name” is selected
d. Enter the name “0SM_ATC_RUNDATE_LOOKUP”
e. Click “Find”
f. If a query is found, this guide was already executed
g. If no query was find, select “Cancel” and proceed with Step 4

Create a new Query
a. Select “New Query…” in the toolbar
b. Select the option “Find” on the left side of the “New Query” Dialog
c. Ensure, the option “Search in Technical Name” is selected
d. Enter the name “0SM_ATC”
e. Click “Find”
f. Select the object “[0SM_ATC] ATC Results”
g. Click “Open”

Rows
a. Select “Rows/Columns”
b. Drag “[0SM_ATC_DT] Date of ATC data” of dimension “[0SM_ATC6] ATC RUN” into the
area “Rows”
c.
Select “[0SM_ATC_DT] Date of ATC data” in area “Rows” and modify the description in the
properties area to “RUN_DATE”

6. Suppress Result Rows
a. Select “[0SM_ATC_DT] RUN_DATE” in area “Rows”
b. In properties switch to tab “Display”
c.
For option “Result Rows” select “Always Suppress”

Add Filter for System ID
a. Select “Filter”
b. In the InfoProvider area navigate to dimension “[0SM_ATC2] Landscape”, characteristic
“[0SMD_LSID] System ID”, folder “Characteristic value variables” and drag variable
“[0SM_V_LSID] System ID (opt, single)” to area “Characteristic Restrictions”

Save query
a. Select “Save Query” in the toolbar
b. In the dialog enter “0SM_ATC_RUNDATE_LOOKUP” as description
c.
Enter “0SM_ATC_RUNDATE_LOOKUP” as Technical Name
d. Click Save
e. You might be prompted to specify a package and/or transport request. Choose accordingly.
(If you are not prompted, the query will be created as Local Object in the selected system).

Characteristic Restrictions
a. Select “Characteristic Restrictions”
b. Drag “[0SM_ATC_MT] Message Type of dimension “[0SM_ATC4] Extension information”
into the area “Characteristic Restrictions”
c. Change the description of Message Type to " MSG_TYPE”.
d. In "Characteristic Restrictions" area Select MSG_TYPE and double click
e. In the popup Windows for Select Options that will be displayed , Drag and Drop the following
Single Values , [E] Error, [N] Information and [W] Warning , Then Click to "OK"

Default Values
a. Select "Default Value" , Drag “[0SMD_LSID] System ID of dimension “[0SM_ATC2]
Landscape ” into the area “Default Value' , Change the description to SYS_ID
b.
In the "Default Value" Area select the SYS_ID and double click, a popup window will be
displayed.
c.
Select variable and the list of variables will be displayed. Select variable "System ID"
and drag it to the "Chosen Selections". Click on "OK".
d. Drag “[0CCMMANDT] CLIENT of dimension “[0SM_ATC3] Key information ” into the
area “Default Values' ,
e. From Dimension "0SM_ATCT" Time, Drag the characteristic "0CALDAY" Calendar day,
change the description to Day.
f.
In the area of "Default Values", double click on the field Day , a popup will be
displayed. Select "Variables", and move "Single value optional date" to the Chosen
Selections list , Click on "OK"

g. From Dimension "0SM_ATC3" Key information, Drag the characteristic
"0SM_ATC_ONM" Object name , change the description to " OBJECT_NAME"., Drag
also the characteristic "0SM_ATC_OTY" Object Type , change its description "
OBJECT_TYPE".
h. From Dimension "0SM_ATC4" Extension information, Drag the characteristic
"0SM_ATC_MT" Message Type , change the description to " MSG_TYPE". Drag also
the characteristic "0SM_ATC_MID" ID for Message Code change its description to
MSG_CODE

Once step 5 is successfully executed , Move to the tab "Rows/Columns" and drag and drop All
the fields in the "Free Characteristics" area to the Rows Area .
Rows area after step 6 should look as follows:

Columns
From the Key Figure part of the info provider drag and drop the following key figures: Priority 1,
Priority 2 and Priority 3 to the Columns area. Adjust the description of the key figure to "PRIO1",
"PRIO2" and "PRIO3".

a. For ALL the fields in the " Rows" area execute b and c
b. In properties switch to tab “Display”

change the description to Day .
b. In the area of "Default Values", double click on the field "Day", a popup will be displayed.
Move variable "Calendar Day " to the "Chosen Selections" list , click on "OK"

From Dimension "0SM_ATCT" Time, Drag the characteristic "0CALMONTH" Calendar
month, change the description to MONTH.
d. In the area of "Default Values", double click on the field Month , a popup will be
displayed . Move "Calendar Year/Month" to the Chosen Selections list , Click on "OK" .

e. From Dimension "0SM_ATCT" Time, Drag the characteristic "0CALWEEK" Calendar
week, change the description to WEEK.
f.
In the area of "Default Values", double click on the field WEEK, a popup will be
displayed. Move "Calendar year / week" to the Chosen Selections list, Click on "OK .

g. From Dimension "0SM_ATCT" Time, Drag the characteristic "0CALYEAR" Calendar day
, change the description to YEAR.
h. In the area of "Default Values", double click on the filed YEAR , a popup will be
displayed . Move "Calendar Year" to the Chosen Selections list , Click on "OK"
i.
Select "Default Value", Drag “[0SMD_LSID] System ID of dimension “[0SM_ATC2]
Landscape ” into the area “Default Value' , Change the description to SYS_ID .
j.
In the "Default Value" Area select the SYS_ID and double, a popup window will be
displayed. Select "Variables" and move "System ID (multiple single values) mandatory"
to the Chosen Selections list, Click on "OK".

e. From Dimension "0SM_ATC3" Key information, Drag the characteristic
"0SM_ATC_USER" Object name, change the description to "USER".
f.
In the "Default Value" Area select the USER and double, a popup window will be
displayed. Select "Variables" and move "USER" to the Chosen Selections list, Click on
"OK"
f.
From Dimension "0SM_ATC3" Key information, Drag the characteristic "0SM_CCLDV"
Object name, change the description to "DEV_CLASS".

Rows
Once step 4 is successfully executed, Move to the tab "Rows/Columns" and drag and drop All
the fields in the "Free Characteristics" area to the Column Area .

Columns
