Page 8 Manufacturing Processes Sabro Industry's manufacturing facility in Islamabad, Pakistan, is a state-of-the-art facility that employs over 2,000 people and is designed to be efficient, sustainable, and safe. The facility is equipped with the latest technologies and equipment to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency in its manufacturing processes. Air Conditioners Sabro Industry's air conditioner manufacturing process begins with the production of the condenser and evaporator coils, which are manufactured in-house using highquality materials. The coils are then assembled with other components, such as the compressor, fan, and control system, to create a complete air conditioning unit. 1. Sourcing of Raw Materials: Sabro uses high-quality raw materials from reputable suppliers to ensure that their products are of the highest quality. The company has long-term supplier relationships that allow them to negotiate competitive prices for raw materials. The raw materials used in Sabro's manufacturing process include copper, aluminum, steel, plastic, and other materials. 2. Materials Used in the Manufacturing Process: Sabro uses a variety of materials in their manufacturing process, including copper, aluminum, steel, plastic, and other materials. Copper is used for its high thermal conductivity, which makes it an excellent choice for heat ex-changers. Aluminum is lightweight and has excellent heat dissipation properties, making it a popular choice for heat sinks. Steel is used for its strength and durability, while plastic is used for its low cost and versatility. 3. Metal Sheet Picking: The first step in the process involves selecting the metal sheets to be used in the air conditioner. Sabro likely sources these sheets from trusted suppliers who provide them with high-quality materials. Page 9 4. Metal Sheet Cleaning: The metal sheets are then cleaned to remove any impurities, dirt, or other contaminants. This step is important to ensure that the sheets are free from any substances that may compromise the quality of the final product. 5. Metal Sheet Cutting: The metal sheets are then cut to size using specialized cutting machines. These machines use advanced cutting technology to ensure that each sheet is cut precisely to the required dimensions. 6. Metal Sheet Bending: Once the sheets have been cut to size, they are bent using a press brake machine. This machine applies pressure to the metal sheet, causing it to bend at a specific angle. This step is crucial to shaping the metal sheets into the required components for the air conditioner. 7. Metal Sheet Punching: After the sheets have been bent, they are punched to create the necessary holes and other features required for the air conditioner. Sabro likely uses a range of punching machines to create holes of different sizes and shapes as well as other features like mounting points for fans and filters. 8. Welding: The punched and bent metal sheets are then welded together to form the final components of the air conditioner. Sabro may use a variety of welding techniques, including MIG welding or TIG welding, to join the components together. 9. Painting: Once the components have been welded together, they are painted using specialized paint booths. Sabro may use a range of paints and coatings to ensure that the air conditioner is durable and resistant to corrosion. Page 10 10. Final Assembly: The final step in the process involves assembling all of the individual components to create the finished air conditioner. This step may involve the use of automated assembly lines, as well as skilled workers who ensure that each component is properly installed and tested. Quality Checks Sabro places a strong emphasis on quality control, and every product undergoes rigorous testing before it is released to the market. Visual inspections, leak tests, and electrical tests are just some of the quality checks performed by Sabro.
