All ACCA exams are computer based exams. The applied knowledge and LW papers are on-demand and can be taken throughout the year. The remaining parts under the Applied Skills module can be taken during four examinations sessions each year in March, June, September, and December. The pass mark for all papers is 50%. Exams consist of a mixture of multiple choice, objective test, and written questions. Upon completing the applied knowledge module, students will be awarded the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business. The Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business is awarded upon successful completion of the Applied Skills module. At this point students are eligible to apply for the Oxfords Brookes BSc in Applied Accounting. After completing all exams, students are also eligible to apply for MSc in Professional Accountancy from University of London. Students will be eligible for ACCA membership upon completion of 13 exams, 36 months of practical experience in a relevant role and ACCA’s Ethics and Professional Skills module. How long does it take? The pace at which you study for your ACCA is very flexible. But there is a ten year time limit to complete the exams which starts from the date of your initial registration. You can choose how you study, how often you sit your exams and where you get your relevant practical experience. You can also choose between afternoon and evening classes. Minimum entry requirements • • Two A-levels and three GCSEs (or their equivalent) These need to be in five separate subjects including English and Maths If you don’t meet the minimum entry requirements, you can join the ACCA by first completing the Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) programme (AB, MA, FA papers).
