Customer value can vary depending on the customers' expectations, if they are met then they are satisfied, if expectations are exceeded they are delighted, and if epectations are not meant, it means they are not satisfied. Companies such as Samsung excels in delivering customer value because it has different products that caters towards different types of people. People who belong in the "mass" population or the working class, as well as high end products that cater towards the upper class. Having products that cater only to one type of customer may reduce value and even hinder sales and performance in the long run. Samsung has decided to open its market to serve not just one class of society, but various classes which in turn contributed largely to their success.
