AIC BADMINTON TOURNAMENT - 2018
MATCH RULES
1.
All League/Group matches will be one set match for 21 points
only.
2.
Quarter Finals will be played for one set for 21 points.
3.
Semi Finals and Final matches to be best of 3 games for 21
points.
4.
At 20 all, the side which gains a 2 point lead first, wins the
game.
5.
At 29 all, the side scoring the 30th point, wins the game.
Group Level Matches
1.
Total of 16 groups with 4 teams in each group.
2.
One team from each group to qualify for the knockout stage.
3.
Team that has most win qualifies for the knockout stage.
4.
If TWO or MORE teams have equal number of wins, then the
winner of HEAD ON matches among the group will qualify.
5.
If HEAD ON winner fails to identify a clear qualifier, then the
team with higher winning margin (by overall score) will qualify.
