Some Tips to be successful!
• About attendance:
– regularly join online sessions (missing one class may be
costly since you have to work harder to catch up!)
• About articles:
– read the article assigned that week
– learn the meaning of new words
– do some background research about the topic, author and
concepts or other authors cited
– find out about the places, events, years, names.

About the course material:
• Always have the course materials (Skills Books and the
articles) ready before the class as you can easily take notes
on them. Mobile phones do not help much. Pen/pencil still
counts!
During the class:
• Ask your teacher questions whenever you do not understand
something or you want it to be explained/clarified.
• Express yourself appropriately and voice your ideas whether
you agree or disagree (different voices are always good to
hear!)
• Sign up for tutorials from your instructor in case you have a
problem (academic or non-academic) thru LMS or E-mail (this
will help you & your instructor to better understand each
other!)

WISH YOU A WONDERFUL AND
A SUCCESSFUL SEMESTER!
