Cell Travel Brochure
Objective: Students will know the function of cell organelles and structures within a eukaryotic cell and how
they work together.
Assignment: Using your knowledge of cell parts and functions, and your creativity, you are to design a travel
brochure that describes a plant or animal cell as if it were a large exhibit or amusement park. Your brochure
must attract visitors to spend money to visit the cell by describing how the attraction "will delight and
amaze”. For example, visitors might want to “visit the ribosomes, located right outside the nucleus, and watch
as proteins are synthesized RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES!”
