Use of the Certification Body’s Name and Certification Mark or Logo
Once the Implementor has been registered by CWB Registration, it is entitled to use the CWB Registration
registered mark or any other marks registered to CWB Registration (the “Registered Marks”), in accordance
with the guidelines which may be issued by CWB Registration from time to time. The Registration Marks,
however, shall not be used by the Implementor in any way that could be construed as pertaining to the
product or service provided by the Implementor rather than solely in reference to the Management
System audited and registered by CWB Registration. CWB Registration permits the Implementor's nonexclusive use in Canada or elsewhere of references to CWB Registration in accordance with such
advertising guidelines which may be issued by CWB Registration from time to time.
The Registration Marks may appear in advertising, promotional material or other literature, only in
reference to the Facility and the process and/or service of the Implementor which has been granted
Registration. The Registration Marks may only be used by the Implementor to indicate Registration. The
Registration Marks shall not be used in conjunction with any modifying terms or phrases without the
express written consent of CWB Registration. References to CWB Registration shall not be misleading as to
the extent of Registration.
In the event that incorrect references to Registration or misleading use of Registration information occur,
CWB Registration shall record the non-conformities and the Implementor shall be required to take timely
corrective action as requested by CWB Registration.
In the event CWB Registration, in its sole discretion, updates, amends or otherwise changes or cancels any
of the Registration Marks, it shall provide the Implementor with written notification of same and within
ninety (90) days of receipt of such notice, the Implementor shall amend or discontinue the use of such
Registration Mark on all advertising, promotional material or other literature.
If any Registration granted to the Implementor is withdrawn, cancelled or terminated in accordance with
this Agreement, the Implementor shall, immediately upon receipt of such notification, cease using the
Registration Marks in any of its materials.
