NOTICE
1ST SEMESTER 2022/2023 ACADEMIC YEAR
HOSTEL C BOOKING FOR LEVEL 300 & 400 DEGREE STUDENTS.
Notice is hereby given that Level 300 & 400 students interested in residing at the University’s
Hostel C for the 1st Semester of the 2022/2023 academic year are to take note of the following:
1. Booking and payment for the Hostel is for a FULL SEMESTER STAY.
2. Hostel C will be opened for booking from Tuesday 30th August 2022, to Sunday 4th
September, 2022, at 10am each day.
3. Deadline for Hostel C fee payment is Sunday 4th September, 2022. Registration and Checkin at the Hostel will be on Sunday 4th September, 2022 from mid-day. Lectures begin on
Monday 5th September, 2022.
N/B: PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN
RESIDING AT THE HOSTEL. You will be billed automatically when you book and you
will be required to pay the amount.
1. PROCESSES FOR REGISTRATION, VERIFICATION, LOGIN & PAYMENT
1.1 REGISTRATION
a. Students are required to register on the Hostel Management System platform.
b. Students are to make sure they are registered on the USIS platform before attempting to
register.
c. Students’ emails and phone numbers should be active and accessible, as login and
verification credentials will be sent through them.
Registration process
Open the Hostel Portal from https://upsahostels.com
Click on ‘Register for Hostel’ to open the registration form.
Enter your UPSA Student ID, email and phone number
Click on Register to process the registration.
1.2 VERIFICATION OF DETAILS
This ensures students’ details are correct and accessible to the student.
a) If the Student ID entered on the registration form is correct and active, the student should
receive a ‘One Time PIN’ (O.T.P.) via SMS.
b) Enter Student ID on the verification form at their respective fields.
c) Click “Validate” to complete the registration.
d) If the OTP is correct, you will receive your password through SMS.
1.3 LOGIN
a) The UPSA Hostel Application can be accessed at https://upsahostels.com
b) Enter your username (i.e. your student ID) and password, which was created during the
initial registration.
c) Clicking the Sign-In button will send you to your student Portal. Continue by following
the steps to reserve a bed.
1.4 RESETTING PASSWORD
a) On the Log In screen, click on “I Forgot My Password”.
b) Enter your email in the text box provided. Note that the email should be the email you
provided during your registration.
c) From the email, click on the link received which should redirect you to the hostel
application, asking for a reset of password.
d) Enter a password of your choice.
e) Clicking on the button will send you to the Log-in page for a login.
1.5 BOOKING PROCESS
a) Log-in to your portal, following the log-in process.
b) Select the Hostel of your choice (Note that the Hostels display the rooms available and
their respective rates.)
c) Select the room, followed by the bed of your choice.
d) Read and accept the rules and regulations of the Hostels. Feel free to cancel your booking
if you do not agree or accept the rules and regulations. You may contact the Hostel
Administration on 0302913535 for clarification before continuing.
e) View your bill and approve your bed reservation.
Note that:
You will be billed automatically after booking.
You will receive an SMS confirmation of your reservation.
Beds will be reserved until Sunday 4th September 2022, after booking. Read the
SMS for details.
1.6 PAYING FOR YOUR RESERVATION
a) Pay the Amount billed into your InterPay account at the Bank.
b) Log into your InterPay portal.
c) Select to pay the automatically billed amount. (You should receive an SMS confirmation
of your payment).

3. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
a. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN
RESIDING AT THE HOSTEL. You will be billed automatically when you book and you
will be required to pay the amount.
b. Read the Rules and Regulations governing the Hostels on the University’s website
(www.upsa.edu.gh) before applying.
c. Secure a bed (successfully book) before making any Hostel fee payment.
d. Hostel fee payment procedure is the same as academic facility user fee payment (you pay
into the University Access Bank account, the money will be transferred into your wallet,
then you disburse according to other Hostel fee items on the portal).
e. Monies paid (disbursed) are not refundable.
f. Your secured bed will be taken from you if you fail to pay the Hostel fee by the deadline
(Sunday 4th September, 2022).
g. Impersonation will attract severe punishment.
h. Hostel Management reserves the right to re-assign a student to a different room when the
need arises.
i. Beds 1 and 3 are down beds whiles Beds 2 and 4 are top beds.
j. Our rates are subject to change without notice.
