Orange Carpet mail in application process
When applying for a Schengen visa under the Orange Carpet Program (OCP), the following documents
are to be submitted:

Completed Schengen visa application form. Please always use the most recent form found online
and fill it out digitally before printing: Schengen Visa - Short Stay - Consular Services
(mfaservices.nl). Make sure the application is signed and the signature matches that in the
passport;
Valid passport, issued within the previous 10 years, holding a validity that exceeds the intended
stay by at least 3 months and has at least 2 empty pages, and a clear copy of the holder and
signature page;
Copy of the valid residence permit or other valid proof of legal residency in the US;
1 recent passport picture: Dutch photo requirements;
A cover letter signed by your company’s contact person for the OCP guaranteeing the company will
cover all business related expenses as well as the applicant being adequately (medically) insured
during his or her visit;
(For mail in applications only) A prepaid self- addressed shipping label to return the passport to the
applicant as well as the mailing waiver (please see below). The respective Dutch mission is not liable
for the courier process. Without a prepaid envelope/label, the applicant must pick up their passport
or have it picked up by a representative at the mission where it was submitted.
