BUSI3006 Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility 2023 - 2024 (Semester 1) Business Ethic Project Brief: Co-Learning of New Ethical Issues in the New Technology World This is a co-learning project, meaning students are responsible to share and reflect your learning on ONE business ethics topic with the class so that we could all learn something from each other outside our own discipline. Students are free to form groups by filling out the Google form on Moodle. A project topic (from Table 1) will be assigned to each group of not more than 5 students. The topic will be relevant to the respective business disciplines of studies. Your Tasks: We are living in a digital world with many new technologies, new way of living and new business ethical issues. Co-learning is an adaptive approach that we learn and share knowledge among each other. The group project is designed to let each group work on a relevant domain knowledge topic and share your findings with your classmates. Topic Stakeholders Ethical Dilemma Theories Application Reflection Introduce the topic knowledge to the class from secondary research. Find out everything you could about the topic. What is the topic about? What technology is it? If any. What are the intended value and benefit within the business context? What are some of the examples in business application? Identify the key stakeholders Why the stakeholders are important in terms of power, legitimacy, and urgency? Why the relationships between the stakeholders are sometimes antagonistic/confrontational?
