Recruitment day to day The recruitment day to day which involves consulting, business development, sales, and account management. You are a matchmaker, responsible for the full cycle known as 360. You have to source a client and source a candidate to match the needs of the client. 360 recruitment isn’t about bringing on as many clients as possible, it’s about building good relationships with clients. 8.45 am Check emails Check applicants CVs for current jobs Review CVs and input them into our database 9 am Morning meeting- gather to discuss what jobs we have on and help refer candidates to each other Ensure you remember candidates’ skills and experience to be able to pass on to the team if they have a role that is suitable 9.15 am Get on the phone- start calling applicants Have an initial chat with applicants Establish their level of interest and suitability 10.30 am If the candidate matches the client’s brief Arrange a meeting with you Go in further depth in skills, work experience, personality and motivations Establish what company and role is suited for them 11.30 am Meetings/ further phone calls with candidates This is to get a well-rounded image of the candidate- personality along with qualifications and experience Lunch break: 12-1 or 12:30-1:30pm 1.30 pm Candidates that are suitable for a particular job- discuss the role and business further Discuss with the client 2.30 pm Interview feedback from your clients If it is successful and they want to make an offer, get on the phone to the candidate Go back to client to discuss start date and necessary information to get the contract out to the candidate 3.30 pm Stay in touch with recently placed candidates and clients From job offer to start date 4 pm Catch up with clients, to set up interviews, de-brief after an interview with one of my candidates or to chat about their hiring requirements Develop relationships with new clients through a cold call, direct message or InMail Generating new business is challenging because you need to win someone over who doesn’t have time to speak with, not recruiting or have another business recruiting for them Provide interview prep with active candidates and discuss interview feedback further Keep in regular contact with candidates to build a further relationship- gain trust 5 pm Writing job adverts for the website, LinkedIn, job boards 5.30 pm Prepare day plan for the next day All tasks and arranged calls booked in calendar 6.00 pm Speak to candidates that you might not be able to talk to throughout the day
