Map of the School
DIRECTIONS- Your goal in this exercise is to create a Latitude and Longitude grid system over the
school map provided, and then give the coordinates of the places listed below.
PROCEDURE1. FIRST—Find the center of the classroom and use that as your 0 degree Latitude, and 0
degree Longitude point.
2. You will use a distance of 2 cm from the 0 degree points. (Not from the edges of the Map)
3. Draw each line neatly and clearly, and then label them.
4. The interval of EACH line will be 10 degrees.
Now that you have your grid system completed find the latitude and longitude for each of the
following objects.
