HOW TO CALCUTATE AREA OF THE TRIANGLE
FORMULA:
A = 0.5 x base x h
Example:
Given:
Base is 10 meters.
Height is 7 meters.
Solution:
A = 0.5 x 10 x 7
=5x7
= 35 m
Calculate the surface areas of the following triangles:
a. height = 6 cm, base = 12 cm
b. height = 22 cm, base = 48 cm
c. height = 16 cm, base = 24 cm
d. height = 0.8 m, base = 0.3 m
HOW TO CALCUTATE VOLUME OF THE BLOCK
Calculate the volume of the block.
Given Answer
length = 4 cm
Formula: V = length x width x height
width = 3 cm
=4 cm x 3 cm x 2 cm
height = 2 cm
= 24 cm3
Calculate the surface volume of block.
1. Length-7cm, width-5cm, height-4cm
2. Length-4cm, width-2cm, height-7cm
3. Length-9cm, width-12cm, height-8cm
4. Length-3cm, width-4cm, height-10cm
5. Length-10cm, width-5cm, height-9cm
