Summary: Concorde is the first supersonic passenger-carrying
commercial airplane. Actually it is designed to reach at high speeds. There
were just 14 Concorde before it was retired. France and United Kingdom
developed the Concorde. It’s first successful flight was made in 1969. It
reached speed of 2179 km/h. Moreover, tickets on the concorde were
really expensive. However, this aircraft was too noisy and really expensive
to operate. In 2000, an accident occured and 113 people died. This event
caused the Concorde’s retirement.
