ACCOMPLISHED SELF-ASSESSMENT GUIDE I have here your accomplished Self-Assessment Guide that indicating you can perform all the units of competency enumerated in your qualification. PREPARE CANDIDATE Explain Purpose and Context of Assessment The National Assessment is being conducted so that if you proved to be competent you will be given a National Certification for your Qualification. This certification is recognized abroad and can be used by those wanting to work in other countries. Also, the national certification is used to be credited to your further studies or for promotion. Today I am going to conduct the competency assessment for (qualification). (show PPT of Competencies and focus on the Core) The assessment will cover the Core Competencies. You will be assessed against the competency standards to see if you all meet the requirements. ALLOWABLE /REASONABLE ADJUSTMENTS There are things that are allowable during the assessment and be given reasonable adjustments. If you have any health issues or conditions, physical disabilities, and any other special needs that could affect your performance (like if you are left handed and you need a left-handed arm chair), please let me know, and I will assist you. Also, if you have problems understanding, communicating or expressing due to language barriers, let me know ahead of time so we can resolve it the soonest possible time. Same thing with religion, if you think what you are about to perform is contrary to your belief, we will make reasonable adjustments, too. Feedbacking For Candidate#1: Based on the results of your performance, you have undertaken all the tasks within the required standards. However, I noticed that you missed to implement all the necessary OHS on the first part of your demonstration. But since you were able to notice it and quickly implemented it, I think, overall, you satisfactorily performed the tasks. And for the oral questioning, though you took time to answer the questions, I think you have provided the key words for the correct answers. So, Congratulations Cnadidate#1, you are competent! So here’s your Competency Assessment Results Summary (CARS), please sign it before I give to the AC Manager. Thank you and congratulations again. May I call on candidate #2.
