Title: Test Construction: Higher Order Thinking Skills- Revised Blooms Taxonomy

Rationale:
Evaluation is an important part of the teaching-learning process. Whatever the
learners learn, should be evaluated daily. The teacher must be very careful in
designing tests since it is an important part of assessing students’ understanding of
lesson content and their level of competency in applying what they are learning.
Therefore, Bloom’s Taxonomy must be used as a powerful tool in constructing test
questions to help develop learning outcomes because it explains the process of
learning:
In line with this, Cataning Integrated School will conduct an INSET on Test
Construction: Higher Order Thinking Skills using the Revised Blooms Taxonomy on
February 8, 2023, 1:00- 5:00 pm.

Objectives:
1. Equipped teachers on the use of Bloom’s Taxonomy in preparing test questions.
2. Use of the Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy in assessing HOTs.
3. Design a student-centered assessment in flexible learning.
