Design thinking and education come together and make implicit knowledge more comprehensible. The old tradition of teaching is not gone but simply improved dramatically by practicing strategic methods of remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating. 3. How do you think design thinking influence teaching and teacher education? Embracing design thinking will make teaching more learner-centered since empathy, as stated, is its foundation. More creative and innovative teaching approaches guide teachers to facilitate and monitor learners’ understanding and performance. The teacher, being the “designer” holds authority inside the classroom environment. Though the teacher has the authority, yet, learnings are mutually shared. The teacher gains better delivery of his expertise in design thinking while practicing empathy, the learners convey their creative skills that reveal the knowledge of 21st century learners that may give in the future answers to unresolvable situations events or queries.
