Ask the students with the following guide questions:
1. What are the different classifications of hardware tools?
2. What are the examples of ESD Tools?
3. What are the examples of hand tools?
4. What are the examples of cleaning tools?
5. What are the examples of diagnostic tools?
(3 minutes)
1. Let the students watch a video clip about the importance of knowing
the appropriate hand tools for Computer System Servicing.
2. Ask the learners with the question below:
a. What is the importance of knowing and using the appropriate
hand tools and test equipment?
(5 minutes)
1. Let the learners do a preliminary activity that will assess their prior
knowledge about the new lesson under “What I Know”.
2. Reveal the answers to the class.
(3 minutes)
1. Before starting the lesson, give the learners another activity under
“What’s In” and ask them the questions below:
a. Are you familiar with the tools shown in the picture?
b. Have you tried using any among these tools? Share your
experience to the class.
2. After the activity, proceed with another activity under “What’s New”.
