My Annual Toronto Trip Experience Dharmil Patel I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Annual Toronto Trip organized by the Asper School of Business Accounting Association (ASBAA), and it was an experience I'll cherish forever. Alongside 10 other enthusiastic students and our esteemed Associate Dean, Dr. Robert Biscontri, we embarked on a journey of exploration and learning. We had the privilege of visiting some of the industry's giants, including EY, PwC, Deloitte, and Grant Thornton. During our visits, we had the privilege of meeting with company representatives, who graciously shared their insights into their respective organizations and the career journeys that brought them to where they are today. This firsthand knowledge was invaluable, as it provided us with a deeper understanding of the accounting field and the various career paths available within it. Moreover, the networking opportunities we encountered were unparalleled, and we left Toronto having forged connections that will undoubtedly prove beneficial in our future endeavors. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Robert Biscontri for his unwavering support and guidance throughout this trip. I'd also like to extend my thanks to the dedicated company representatives who generously hosted us and took the time to share their experiences. A special shout-out to Nichole Choi, the coordinator for this trip, for her exceptional organization and ensuring that every moment was truly memorable. This trip has not only broadened our horizons but also reinforced our passion for the field of accounting, and I look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead in this dynamic industry.
