B. PROJECT ABSTRACT (Not more than 200 words)
With a network of approximately 1,400 branches across the country, Allied Bank ensures
accessibility and convenience for its customers. The study of my six-week of internship at Allied
Bank Ltd. Cavalry Road Nowshera Branch shall provide a comprehensive overview of ABL, focusing
on the activities, duties, responsibilities, and services offered by Allied Bank of Pakistan. The study
highlights the significant impact of banking on a nation’s trade and economic growth, as well as the
influence of contemporary technologies on management operations. The methodology employed a
combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, utilizing literature and Bank Annual Reports
as sources of secondary data. Primary data is to be collected through unstructured meetings with
the bank employees and personal annotations. Additionally, the objectives to get practical work
experience and link the theories I covered in my degree program with real work environment always
motivated me towards such an internship. With a focus on conciseness, the study aims to provide a
detailed account of the activities, responsibilities, and corporate data of Allied Bank of Pakistan
and its SWOT analysis. The study concludes by identifying key issues observed during the internship
and offering useful recommendations for improvement. The findings and insights presented in this
report aim to contribute towards literature on Allied Bank of Pakistan.
