A quick note on the PHYS 141 laboratory summary and data analysis reports
I would like to highlight and emphasize the following:
Each report must follow the lab format items uploaded into the Aduzem, which include student names
and numbers, section and experiment date, group (e.g., Group 1, Group 2, etc.), title of the experiment,
etc.
1. Lab summary report
You must summarize the theoretical background and procedure of each experiment in your own words.
You should use active or passive voice when writing your summary report.
For example
Active voice
We measured the length of the object three times.
Passive voice
The length of the object was measured three times.
Each group should submit only one summary reporting document.
You must submit the summary report before conducting the experiment.
Marks will be deducted for late submissions.
2. Laboratory data analysis and conclusion reports
Each group must submit only one data analysis and conclusion report document.
You must submit the data analysis report after conducting the experiment and before conducting the
next experiment.
Marks will be deducted for late submissions.
