My name is Aya Emad, I am 23 years old, a student from Iraq. I have
been accepted into the University of Southampton to study a Masters in
Electronics Engineering
My major is computer engineering. My studies are difficult, but I am sure
it is the best for me.
My hobby is reading novels, I will tell you about several interesting
novels that I have read .
I also love food preparation and cooking,I will introduce you to many
famous Iraqi foods.
I will arrive in Britain on September 1st, probably around 10:00am, I
want to arrive a week early because I want to explore the areas and get
to know you.
I have a few questions that I hope you can answer. What is the weather
like in Britain currently? I heard it's very cold and I'll spend all my
studying in the winter. Is this correct?
Can you also tell me the distance between your home and the
university and what is the easiest way to reach the university?
I also hope that you will tell me about your customs and traditions that
you use at home and also in the city in general, and are there conditions
and laws that I should care about?
