Lifting details (step by step)
1) Hold a Pre job meeting (TBT) with all parties involved.
2) Verify load weight.
3) Ensure barriers are in place and the load travel path and lay down area is clear of obstruction.
4) Carry out pre-start for the HAIB crane.
5) Carry out pre-use inspection for the lifting accessories.
6) Attach the tag line to the load.
7) Attach the sling to the load and ensure the load is secured.
8) Attach the slings on to the crane main hook.
9) Banksman to give hand signal to the crane operator once the sling is hooked.
10) HIAB Truck operator picks up the load and follows banksman signals to hoist & slew the load from Ground to Trailer and vice versa
11) Upon confirmation from client the position of the load is acceptable, remove all lifting tackles.
12) Ensure the area is safe and finish the lifting operation.
13) Housekeeping.
