Movie Reflection
Seven Sundays is easily certainly of the finest Filipino films that I have ever watched, and it is one of the
best films I have ever seen, period. It is a video that shows how to actually appreciate time spent
together as a family, together with respect, love, and even a little bit of discipline. This is not one of
those usual romantic comedies that revolves around cliches and speaks about love. There is more going
on than what is often referred to as "love" between a pair. That right there is LOVE IN THE FAMILY. The
most fundamental kind of love that we are experiencing right now, but sadly, the FAMILY LOVE that
ought to be shown in the film is conspicuously absent due to the fact that the four siblings have
resentments against one another as a result of their shared histories and secret grudges.
Whenever comes comes to picking our favorite part of the movie, everyone of us has our own opinion
and preferences in this regard. My favorite part is when we go to the beach together. They (the siblings)
have now completely developed into grownups, so during the evening, they were preparing this socalled "Memory Box" to be revealed since they (the family) opted to have their overnight stay at the
beach together. Back when they were still young, they used to have this BOX OF REBISCO in which they
wrote letter to one another on a regular basis in order to get all of their thoughts and emotions toward
at the very end of their day.
Overall, in a family, there will surely be ups and downs. There is no challenge at all if all the time,
happiness overflows. Those challenges and fights, that every family had, strengthen more the bond,
love, and the trust for each other. The relationship between a mother and a father, and the parents to
the children, is the most important foundation of LOVE for everyone. LOVE truly starts at home. How can
we spread out LOVE if first and foremost it cannot be found in the roof that we are staying most of the
time? Fortunately, I have this kind of family that can really help me become a better person. As of now,
as I am living my 21st year of my life with my family since Day 1, I am praying for more bonding and still
praying for good health for us to still have the love and connection with one another
