The proposed city food and waste management pilot phase project will run for 18 Months and will require close to 3 million rands. A revised plan will then be presented after the evaluation of phase 1, targeting to phase 2 implementation. Impact (social economic & environmental) Creation of employment; 15 permanent jobs for 3 years for the facilitators and more than 20 par time jobs on waste recycling and the food garden initiative.
