1. Based on what you have learned, explain contemporary dance on your own idea.
- Contemporary dance for me is the dance where you are expressing your own
feelings and emotion with your own choreography, as well as due its ease of
movement the dance help the people to learn more and help them to reach the new
boundary of body movements.
2. What is modern dance?
-Modern dance is a free expressive dancing started in the early 20th century as
reaction to classical ballet.

In this year Isadora Duncan,
she
emphasize

technique and based it on
ease of movement using
the body’s natural energy
and lines, allowing more

movement than other
conventional techniques.

Cunningham was able to

dance

- The Four techiques in Contemporary Dance are Cunningham technique, Graham
technique, Limon tecnique, and Release.
