Rutherford’s Experiment Newspaper Article

Ernest Rutherford made a groundbreaking discovery regarding the atom and its nucleus. He is considered one of the
founding fathers of chemistry. Your assignment is to write a newspaper article detailing Rutherford’s findings. Use the
two articles that you have been given, and your textbook (chapter 4-1) as resources. You may use additional information
from the internet if you wish. List any additional sources that you use on the back of your articles. Be sure to
paraphrase. Points will be deducted for plagiarism. Use a font size appropriate to fill one typed page, with a minimum of
10 sentences. This is an individual effort, and a test grade. As such, people who turn in identical articles will both
receive a zero.
